Distance: Approximately 8 km Hours: 5-7 hours Temperature: 25°C to 15°C Terrain: Begin your trek through lush rainforests, reaching the Rongai Gate. From there, ascend through the moorland to Simba Camp, where you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Accommodation: Simba Campsite

Day 2: Simba Camp to Second Cave

Distance: Approximately 6 km Hours: 4-6 hours Temperature: 15°C to 5°C Terrain: Traverse the heath and moorland, ascending to the Second Cave. The changing scenery offers glimpses of Kilimanjaro's diverse ecosystems.
